Back to the books...

I'm really enjoying "Northern Lights" by Philip Pullman, so much so that I've bought the other two books in the trilogy. And no they are not children's books: they are for young adults. Well, maybe not much difference, but I think a 22-year-old can be classed quite accurately as a young adult, don't you? Anyway, it's much better than "Harry Potter" (controversial!) - the books would be better if Rowling (paid by the word?) didn't feel the need to make each book longer just by padding out the story with a load of guff (technical term, obviously).

Right, that's that done. Time to read my book.
