A bizarre book...

"The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists" by Gideon Defoe

Brilliant and hilarious! A funny (yes, really) book about pirates, scientists (including Darwin) and ham (should we roast it or boil it?). It's completely daft: the pirates capture Darwin's ship The Beagle then help him to present his scientific discovery in London. They have much to fear, however, when taking on the evil Bishop of Oxford. Luckily the Pirate Captain has a luxurious beard, and the pirates have many opportunities for roaring and running people through. This is officially recommended randomness.
